This African safari holiday starts with two nights in a stylish lodge, then spends six nights in two distinct bush camps on the Luangwa River within South Luangwa National Park, before returning to the private lodge for one more night. A variety of wildlife watching activities are included in the 10-day South Luangwa safari, including guided game drives, night game drives, and walking safaris.

From landscape to animal diversity to accessibility, South Luangwa National Park is regarded as one of Africa’s best and most spectacular parks. Impalas, Pukus, and buffaloes graze the open plains; leopards, which are frequently hunted in the dense woodlands; elephant herds wade through the marshes; and hippos eat peacefully on Nile cabbage in the Luangwa River. The birdlife is likewise magnificent, with over 400 species recorded.

Day 1 Arrival Meet & Greet/ Flight to Mfuwe

You fly to Lusaka International Airport in Zambia (LUN), and on arrival you will be welcomed by our representative who will then help you to check in onto the flight to Mfuwe.

1hr 10 minutes and upon arrival at Mfuwe airport, you will be met by your hosts from Kafunta River Lodge and transferred to the lodge. On arrival at your lodge, you may want to undertake a night game drive or relax at your lodge enjoying a bush boma under the stars.

Day 2 Kafunta Lodge, South Luangwa National Park

A full day to explore everything South Luangwa National Park has to offer, including game drives with knowledgeable guides in the park and walking safaris with experienced guides through this wildlife-rich park.

Day 3 Transfer to Island Bush Camp

After breakfast, you’ll be transfer through South Luangwa National Park to your remote and intimate bush camp on the Luangwa River in an open vehicle. You will arrive at the camp in time for lunch and relaxation, followed by afternoon tea, a night game drive, and a return to the camp in time for dinner and bed.

Day 4&5 Island Bush Camp, South Luangwa NP

After a morning breakfast and walking safari or morning game drive, you’ll return to the camp in time for lunch, relax, and afternoon tea, before heading out for a night game drive, dinner, and bed.

Day 6 Transfer to Three Rivers Buch Camp

After breakfast, you will be transferred through South Luangwa National Park to Three Rivers Bush Camp, where you will spend the next three nights. Arrive in time for lunch, then unwind with afternoon tea and a night game drive before returning for dinner and bedtime.

Day 7&8 Three Rivers Bush Camp, South Luangwa NP

Breakfast in the morning, followed by a morning game drive or walking safari before returning to the camp for lunch and relaxation, followed by a night game drive, dinner, and bedtime.

Day 9 Transfer to Kafunta Lodge

After a morning breakfast and game drive or walking safari, you will be transferred to Kafunta Lodge for your final night in an open vehicle. You’ll arrive in time to unwind and go on a night game drive.

Day 10 Departure

Today you have breakfast and morning game drive then you will be transferred to Mfuwe airport depending on your flight time to Lusaka and onwards connection. You will be met by our representative at Lusaka International airport who will then assist your with luggage and check in.

I am 6 feet tall and 220 lbs. This shirt fit me perfectly in the chest and shoulders. My only complaint is that it is so long! I like to wear polo shirts untucked. This shirt goes completely past my rear end. If I wore it with ordinary shorts, you probably wouldnt be able to see the shorts at all – completely hidden by the shirt. It needs to be 4 to 5 inches shorter in terms of length to suit me. I have many RL polo shirts, and this one is by far the longest. I dont understand why.

The shirt was not the fabric I believed it to be. It says Classic Fit but was made like the older versions, not the soft cotton like my others. I don’t understand how the labels are the same but a completely different shirt. Oh well, stuck with it now.

The Ralph Lauren quaility is here in abundance. My husband always says that the Lauren polos fit better and last longer than any other brand.I love the new \”heathered\” color and the price is always excellent through shop
