Day 1 Meet &; Greet/ Flight to Mfuwe & Transfer to Painted Dogs Lagoon
When you arrive at Lusaka Intl Airport our team will welcome and assist you check in onto your local connection flight to Mfuwe in South Luangwa. At Mfuwe Airport, you’ll be greeted by your guide and transferred to Painted Dogs Lagoon Nestled along a scenic lagoon, the camp offers an intimate safari experience. Enjoy a relaxed evening settling into your comfortable accommodations and savoring your first dinner in the bush before bedtime.
Day 2&3 Exploring South Luangwa
Spend your Two full days discovering the wonders of South Luangwa. Embark on morning and afternoon game drives to spot the park’s diverse wildlife, including leopards, lions, elephants, and over 400 bird species. Relax during the heat of the day at camp, taking in the tranquil views of the lagoon. Optional walking safaris are available for a closer connection with the wild.
Day 4 Road Transfer to Luambe Camp
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic game drive 4-hour road transfer to Luambe Camp, located in the remote and less-visited Luambe National Park. Arrive in time for lunch and settle into your tented camp, perfectly positioned along the Luangwa River. In the late afternoon, enjoy some tea /coffee then embark on your first game drive in this secluded wilderness.
Day 5&6 Discovering Luambe National Park
Experience the raw beauty of Luambe over the next two days. Morning and afternoon game drives offer opportunities to spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of antelope species. The park is a haven for birdwatchers, with vibrant birdlife all around. Between activities, relax at the camp, enjoying the peaceful ambience of this untouched gem.
Day 7 Road Transfer to North Luangwa River Lodge
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to North Luangwa River Lodge on a 4-hour drive, a rustic and charming camp in North Luangwa National Park. Arrive in time for lunch and take some time to unwind. In the afternoon, you have some tea/coffee then go out on your first activity, such as a game drive or bush walk, in this pristine and remote park.
Day 8&9 Exploring North Luangwa National Park
Immerse yourself in the untouched wilderness of North Luangwa, famous for its walking safaris and abundant wildlife. Guided walks led by expert rangers allow you to experience the bush up close, encountering elephants, buffalos, and even predators. Optional game drives are also available. Evenings are spent under the stars, enjoying the camp’s warm hospitality and delicious meals.
Day 10 Shared Seat Charter Flight to Mfuwe, Flight to Lusaka for Departure
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Mwaleshi Airstrip depending on your flight time, you will board your shared seat charter flight from Mwaleshi Airstrip to Mfuwe Airport. From there, connect to a domestic flight to Lusaka for your onward journey. Depart Zambia with incredible memories of your safari adventure.

I am 6 feet tall and 220 lbs. This shirt fit me perfectly in the chest and shoulders. My only complaint is that it is so long! I like to wear polo shirts untucked. This shirt goes completely past my rear end. If I wore it with ordinary shorts, you probably wouldnt be able to see the shorts at all – completely hidden by the shirt. It needs to be 4 to 5 inches shorter in terms of length to suit me. I have many RL polo shirts, and this one is by far the longest. I dont understand why.

The shirt was not the fabric I believed it to be. It says Classic Fit but was made like the older versions, not the soft cotton like my others. I don’t understand how the labels are the same but a completely different shirt. Oh well, stuck with it now.
